Your first initial request for my commissions should be via Instagram or email, and then we will move to emails only.
Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you are stating that you have read and agreed to these terms.
Basic TOS:
I, as the artist, reserve the right to deny ANY commission for any reason, if I decide I can no longer complete a commission, you will be refunded based on the amount of work completed. Read below for clarification.
SECTION I. IMAGE COPYRIGHT
I, the artist, retain all rights to the original artwork. The client may not claim it as their own.
Reposting
The client has my permission to repost the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given (a link back to my Instagram or my @ on Instagram)
If I do find you use my work for commercial use without proper compensation, I reserve the right to file a DMCA and/or take legal action. You will also be placed on my blacklist, and I will not take requests from said client.
As the artist of the piece, I allow myself to post the commission or even make prints, keychains, etc of the piece if I wish to do so.
PROHIBITED ACTIONS
-Claiming the artwork as your own
-Altering the artwork in ways that would make it unrecognizable from the original work
-using work commercially when that has not been requested/paid for.
- I DO NOT CONSENT to my work being fed into any AI, and if I find traces of a commission being repurposed from AI, I will not take commissions from said client again.
SECTION II. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment Informtion
If the commission is canceled (by me or the client) before work has started, then the client will receive a FULL refund.
If the client cancels the commission during progress, the amount refunded will be on a case-by-case basis and up to the artist’s discretion.
If you need to cancel, here is the amount that will be refunded based on what stage the commission is at for fully rendered piece orders only:
Sketch: 90%
Line: 50%
Line and Flat Color: 10%
Fully rendered/completed pieces WILL NOT be refunded. For example: if you cancel a request for a sketch or lineart with flat color, if that request is completed by the time you request a refund, you will NOT get a refund.
This is due to my commissions having multiple options for stages of progress that the client wishes the piece to be at. To be clear, if what you chose to be commissioned is completed and you request a refund, you will not receive a refund.
I, as the artist, reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, for any reason
However, if I, the artist, cancel the commission due to my inability to complete it at any stage, a full refund will be given.
SECTION III. CONTACT AND COMMUNICATION
Discussion of commissions can be conducted via Instagram DMs or Email. Most of my communication is done via Instagram DMs; however, my Email is [email protected] if you need to contact me there. Once a commission is completed, I will send the final product to the commissioner (if needed, I may ask for an email to send the completed work to)
I may also need to move our conversation to emails only, depending on the circumstances.
Visual Reference Guidelines:
Client must provide at least one clear and concise visual reference of the character desired; please supplement the visual reference with any important information I may need to know to correctly draw the character.
If you link to a gallery of your character’s artwork, I cannot promise your design will be done with 100% accuracy. Design interpretations may be inconsistent between images and lessen my ability to accurately draw your character. Shading on potential pieces will also play a part in this. If at all possible, please provide an unshaded piece of work so I can accurately represent colors.
Disallowed Content
-Characters intended to be or appear underage in any sexual or suggestive context.
-Extreme Fetishes
-Any sort of hateful content, such as racism, transphobia, homophobia, and characters with Nazi/Soviet/etc. imagery or paraphernalia.
I will not draw NSFW content in any form, If I suspect the content requested will be used innapropriately i will first ask for clarification or simply not complete the request at all.
SECTION V. WORKFLOW PROCESS
work best when given some artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide, but if you have something specific in mind, I am more than capable of conforming to your needs.
If there are any delays in the completion of a commission, I will personally notify the client.
Completion of most commissions is generally estimated to take no more than roughly 1 to 2 weeks at the most. But that can be subject to change based on how many clients I have at the time, what's going on in my personal life, or communication issues with the client. For the fastest turn out time, please be patient with me, and try to communicate with me as much as possible. I'd rather take longer on your commission to get something that you are happy with, rather than quickly creating something nothing like what you originally wanted. If, for any reason, I cannot complete a commission, I will inform the client and issue a full refund.
Works in Progress (WIPS):
All commission types include a sketch approval stage. I will send any wips to the commissioner if asked, or If I do anything significant to change or alter an artwork. Progress will be paused until the sketch is confirmed.
Revisions and Edits:
Any major changes or revisions must be made at the Sketch approval stage; this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose, body shape, or redrawing parts of the image.
After the sketch has been approved, no major edits or changes will be made to the pose or the character. If the commissioner requests additional major edits after the approved sketch, a price for the edits may be discussed.
If I, the artist, make any errors in the character design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references, I will make these edits at no additional cost.
